Get stronger

in the broken

places.

Our lives these days are over-flowing. There is much to do, to be responsible for, to remember, to decide, and to solve. In exchange for adequately managing all this, we are expected to “be happy”. And yet, the reality of the worlds we live in, coupled with the painful pasts we may have experienced, is that many of us are carrying more than any human should. A steady sense of well-being can feel elusive. The result is a growing feeling of disconnection, agitation, discontent, and fearfulness.

My approach to therapy starts with the foundation that you are human, having a human reaction to human experiences. Whatever you’ve been through and whatever you are going through—you are in fact—more resilient than you think. In therapy, we work together to create an environment of compassion, acceptance, and intentional change through deepening listening, increasing self-knowledge, re-evaluating beliefs, harnessing strengths, and putting skills into practice.

You are encouraged to inquire about your benefits prior to your first visit.  Services through insurance require that you meet criteria and be provided with a mental health diagnosis. Here are some helpful things to ask your insurance provider:

·      Do I have in-network mental health benefits? And what are they?
·      What is my in-network deductible?
·      Has my deductible been met?

What if you don’t take my insurance?

You may have out-of-network benefits. That means your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of the services provided. You pay at the time of service, I give you a receipt that you submit to your insurance company. Your insurance would reimburse you directly. Call your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network benefits.
